Who makes you feel that way?
Where do you feel it most?

Can freedom exist despite attachment? Can freedom exist with compromise? Can freedom be worked on? Does it merely depend on external circumstances? Can freedom be shared, or even created?

Is there anything truly standing in the way of your freedom? How can you work either with or around it?

"Your body is a temple", and so it should be treated.

Each body such as each individual person is different and unique. Nonetheless, they all need loving kindness, compassion and care.

Saying so, sticking to a strict diet could be quite the challenge, just as keeping up with a daily workout routine.

There is no 'ultimate answer' to what we all need to do to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Only hints that are there to push us in the right direction.

The real question is; what makes YOU and YOUR body feel good?

Which kinds of foods during the summer? Which kinds of foods during the winter? What kinds of movement? Maybe youre a dedicated jogger, or perhaps you just loooove to dance...

I encourage you, if not already, to keep track and even take notes on which parts of your daily routine could use more love and how you can adapt those moments of self care to realllly feed your needs πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’™πŸ¦‹

So (when) we've tackled our fears, nurtured our need for creativity, ignited our inner fire, connected with our heart, and have spoken our truth, we continue on to explore hearing not only the people around us, but our inner voice. Truly hearing them.

We both know which voice I'm talking about...

That gut feeling, the one that holds the sometimes bitter truths we don't always want to accept and honor. The one leading us on unnexpected paths for reasons we can't quite explain.

Communication can be one heck of a challenge sometimes. Whilst attempting to anticipate or to please, or finding the right words to express how we feel, being understood the way we want to be understood... And it goes on and on.

A few notes on Love

What is your love language?
Do you allow yourself to embrace and accept love into your life? How do you express it? & How do you practice self-love?

When do you feel most loved?
Are you able to recognize when you are in need of it?
Do you feel comfortable reaching out for it? How do you or could you do so?

Is setting boundaries not a form of love? How about simply listening to your heart...

Remember, love is everywhere, always. Wether it be unconditional, romantic, affectionate, familiar, enduring, playful, platonic or self-nurturing. It is said that even it's opposite; hate, is really just an expression of love itself!

Beyond grief, beyond putting up walls, beyond competition and comparison... Lies loving-kindness, collaboration and compassion. This is where we realise that we are all walking reflections of each other. All beings in need of love. Love unites us all and can take on many forms. Can you feel it?

Dare to love yourself so fiercely, that no one could ever say or do anything to make you feel like anything less than the perfect being that you are...

Oh! &One more thing... Taking the time and finding ways for one to recharge is also self-love, especially when one is very giving. So don't forget to give as much to yourself as you do others!!!

You are the only person that you will spend every living, breathing moment with. And so...

How do you honor yourself?

What is YOUR truth?

Do you treat and forgive yourself as you do others?

It is said, "Guilt is the feeling that we do something wrong or bad; While shame is the feeling that we are disappointed from our own selves."

What false beliefs are blocking you from being absolutely proud of every part of your being? What could you be ashamed of that stands in the way of your freedom to just be. To stand in the way of your being at peace.

In the spiritual world, there is this one dreaded word people seem to shy away from: Ego. Often associated with Pride.

I want to tell you that pride is an essential need and you deserve to be proud of who you are and what you've done. We are our worst critics. Be kind to yourself. There exists a healthy balance between being humble and being proud of oneself.

You hold within you, the creative power to decide to either strive for an unrealistic form of perfection, or to make peace with who you are & embrace/acknowledge where you're coming from; understanding that you are already perfect as you are.

There is no such thing as too big or too small... So what are you proud of?

Or, is there something or someone who inspires you, who makes you feel empowered or reminds you of the king or queen or anything in between that you are?

When, where, with who.. do you feel most creative?

Which environment most stimulates your creativity?

What does creativity mean to you? Do you allow that part of yourself to shine?

This essential need for creativity and pleasure is blocked by guilt. What negative belief patterns are stopping you from setting your creative mind free?

Remember, there are no 'wrong' choices in a world filled with teachers and lessons. You have a right to make your own decisions, to set boundaries and do what makes YOU feel good. 🧑

To overcome Fear, one must have Faith. That is, to trust their instinct or gut feeling; to trust in all that is part of the bigger scheme of things. To trust the process. May it be through God, the Universe or whichever higher force... It demands letting go and sometimes, preperation!

- What brings about a feeling of safety and security in your life?

- Which type of environment or habitat most stimulates you?

- What belief patterns did you inherit from your family/society? And which of them still have authority over your thinking?

- What can you do in order to feel more secure?

- What or who has a grounding effect on you?

- When was the last time something you were afraid would happen, actually happened? - how did it make you feel afterwards, how did you deal with it and how do you feel about it now?

- Do you feel comfortable, safe or do you allow yourself to seek help or support when in need?

We all have our challenges. You don't have to face your fears alone.

What makes you feel good?

What made you feel good today? What makes you feel satisfied, content, calm, at peace...? It could be big or it could be small. Like a walk in nature, the smell of lilacs or reaching out to an old friend. It could be tangible or something you can only see, feel, hear, smell.

Well-being is a matter of mind, body and spirit. All inter-connected. And above physiological needs, what do you or can you do in your day-to-day life to make sure your emotionnal and psychological needs are met?

A few questions to ask oneself -

What, who/where, when, how...

Makes me feel/Do I feel love, loved?

Makes me feel/Do I feel safe, secure?

Makes me feel creative? Do I feel most creative?

Makes me feel/Do I feel heard, listened to?

Makes me feel/Do I feel acknowledged?

Makes me feel/Do I feel like I can affirm myself?

Makes me feel/Do I feel free?

On this fiery new moon in the midst of spring, I invite you to think of what when where how and with who you feel these needs are most met. I suggest you hold those people, moments, places, etc. close to your heart and perhaps make more space for them in your life. Tis the season for spring cleaning, getting rid of the old, making space for the new, but most importantly... making space for yourself and what makes you feel good.

What is Thai Massage?

This 2500 year old practice is a combination of massage, yoga, meditation, ayurveda and energy work following sen lines and marma points. It is built around the philosophy of "metta", meaning love & compassion.

During a session, you can expect some stretching, palming and soft mobilisations. This style of massage is practiced on a mat, on the ground and clothed.

Thai massage has many benifits such as: improving circulation, relieving muscle tension and spasms, stimulating the imune system, accelerating the metabolism and balancing the energies of the body which brings to a state of mental calmness.
