On Dec 29th, 2023, my good friend came over for a photoshoot with

We hadn't seen each other in years so there was a little catching up to do.

I told him about my little holistic practice and sorta told him that I wanted to take my business to the next level.

He looked at me and said "What does that mean for you? What does that look like for you, Em?"
Funny enough, I had spent months talking about taking my business to the next level, but I realized I never really grounded myself in my answer, until then.

I told him that I had had that vision of opening my own little space (outside of my home) for a start. I do have many other dreams and goals for [Em]ergy, but this one was at the top of my list.

I told him that I have a dream of offering a space, a haven, a sanctuary, a solace, for people to come and find rest, peace, compassion, acceptance and healing.

3 months later, Val, my haidresser, friend, and owner of .a.couleur , came to me unexpectedly with this opportunity on a silver platter.

Fast forward to yesterday, and .em.mtl is now officially opened.

February did not disappoint!

I needed to take some time to integrate all of it.
So many waves. So many highs and lows. So many surprises - the good, the bad, and the ugly!

From coming back from our lovely trip and flying high,
to sinking the lowest I've been in years, into depression and anxiety,
to letting go and rising again to create magical momentum,
to meaningful and impactful conversations,
to rediscovering the joy and gratitude of feeling alive again.

And now stepping into this next chapter I've been working SO HARD to start! 🥹

Though sometimes I may not always be able to help with the healing, I get to help with the transitioning.

In the sacred space of healing, there are moments when my role extends beyond direct intervention.

I had been working with this precious little soul for the past few weeks, but yesterday, we had to say our goodbyes.

It's a profound privilege to guide the gentle transition of an animal, embracing their journey with the energy of Reiki, and helping them let go.

I'm honoured to stand witness to the beautiful transformations that unfold in the quiet exchange of energies, offering calm and peace in their transitions.

In these moments between life and the beyond, my Reiki practice becomes a bridge of compassion for animals in transition, and I get to let them lead the way.

Each moment holds an unspoken exchange, where healing may take a different form – a soothing presence, a comforting energy, that eases their passage.

It's a privilege to be a companion on their transformative journey, a silent guide through the realms of transition.

It is an incredibly humbling experience, and through these moments of deep connection, I get to provide relief not just to the animal but to their parents as well. I get to bring comfort and consolation in a time of distress, confusion and sadness for them.

Exploring the world has always been one of my greatest passions, and amidst the journey, my vision for my practice and business has seemed to have finally found its true north while travelling last week.

To have been able to work and send Reiki, while travelling and going to my happiest of happy places (the beach), was eye opening for me.

Each step on the road has unveiled the path of a nomad Reiki practitioner. As I want to embrace this nomadic life, my calling as a holistic practitioner will take center stage. I want to travel for my work, I want to travel for my practice.

I want to be able to offer as much help as I possibly can while exploring the world, and going where my soul shines and recharges the most.

Roaming far and wide, my mission is to help spread healing and caring energies across the globe. Transcending borders and embracing transformative experiences.

Thus, long-distance Reiki and Tapping will become the heartbeat of my practice, transcending geographical confines.

And I'm bringing you along this venture, where travel and energy converge, creating a tapestry of wellness and healing that knows no bounds.
