Last week's ZOOM presentation on diabetes was a great success! Had many positive feedbacks 😊 I am so glad that it was informative and that everyone learnt something new!

This is the reason I want to do these webinars, to bring the right information to more people and help them be more aware of their eating habits!

If I was to do another nutrition webinar, what would you like to learn about? Let me know! 😉

Not always easy ... but you are the best role model for your kids!

Teaching kids portion control, involving them in meal preparation and encouraging them to be active are easy-to-do prescriptions for good health.

Today May 6th 2020 is International No Diet day!

Many people think that seeing a dietitian means dieting. Which is one of the first point I make it clear for patients and clients who come to see me. I ask them about their diet history and how it worked for them. I explain to them why dieting doesn't work and can harm their body and mind instead.

It is important to know that dietitians are here to help you find ways to better your eating habits based on your preferences and lifestyle and not to create a restrictive diet.

I often get questioned about some of my own habits.

I've been asked if I eat fast food. The answer is, I do! But very rarely because my taste palette has changed over the years and I don't enjoy fast food as much as I used to.

If I ever have cheat days. EVERYDAY! I enjoy chocolate very much, I make all kind of chocolate desserts to treat myself (you can ask my boyfriend, he's the one always judging me). I don't consider it cheat day because I don't feel bad eating it.

Some patients and clients doubt me for understanding them because of my body shape. Yes, I can consider myself in a pretty good shape because I feel great and full of energy. But it doesn't mean that this is what everyone should look like. I just want to help you be the best version of yourself. The version that makes you feel great, energized, healthy and confident - which should be defined in your own terms.

Please be kind to your body and mind ❤️

The aim of the no diet day is to:
- Raise awareness about overweight
- Know the face about the diet industry
- Accept Body Diversity
- Know the Potential Dangerous of Diet

So now go enjoy and savour the food that you've been depriving yourself from eating!! 😋
