sing Zoom. I primarily use motivational and psychoeducational approaches as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I also use Mindfulness-Integrated CBT techniques for the treatment of chronic pain syndromes and individuals recovering from op**te dependence. I am a former Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University. I taught courses to undergraduate students (Issues in Drug Dependence), graduate students (Advanced Seminar in Addiction), as well as residents in the Psychiatry Diploma Course and nurse practitioners. My teaching and academic work informs my clinical approach. The therapeutic work that I do is evidence-based - formulated on best practices, a critical evaluation of the current literature and informed by an up-to-date understanding of what works in the treatment of emotional problems and addictions. I have more than 25 years of experience organizing and delivering courses, workshops, presentations and clinical training related to addictions and mental health.
