The aim of assisted living is to keep our residents safe and as autonomous as possible when changes occur in their level of independence. Assisted living is also offered on a short term weekly basis during a time of crisis, illness, or rehabilitation to help residents return to their usual level of independence. Together with the resident and their family, we create personalized care plans to meet their needs. We offer bathing assistance, morning and bedtime care, escorting to meals and activities, urinary incontinence management and night monitoring. We have over 100 comfortable and affordable apartments of different sizes. If occupancy is required on a short term basis, we offer a fully furnished apartment for those who wish a trial period, respite care or are visiting with a loved one. Residents who qualify can also claim a tax credit respecting home-support services. For more information and/or a guided tour, call us for an appointment. Prospective residents can select from five different apartment sizes depending on their needs and the availability of the units. If a desired apartment is not available, we have a waiting list. Manoir King David residents have priority when it comes to availability of apartments. Manoir King David's kitchen is strictly kosher. Every resident has a special file to ensure their specific dietary needs. None of our food is cooked with salt and the medical needs for every resident is respected. Diabetics are served special snacks throughout the day.
