Easy Pace Iyengar Now Available on Vimeo on Demand. $18 CAD, unlimited access for 1 week!

This class is suitable for everyone. It covers the basic poses, the actions are clear and easy to follow, and the holds are not long. Some props or household objects, are required to take full advantage of the class. There is no sirsasana (headstand) or sarvangasana (shoulder stand), but there are poses to open the thoracic cage, and activate the spine. Sethubandha sarvangasana (bridge pose), and viparita karani (legs up the wall with support under the hips), are included in each session. The teacher does the poses with you so you can easily see what has to be done.

Level 1/2 is a dynamic and well-rounded class that includes standing poses in every class, with a focus on one of these elements; forward bends, backbends, twists, and occasional restorative postures.

The practice does not include Sirsasana (Headstand), but includes Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand). If you are not practicing Sarvangasana, you will be guided into Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge Pose) as an alternative.

No prior yoga experience is required—this class is accessible to beginners while still offering depth for continuing students.

Planet Yoga Iyengar Yoga provides Vimeo recordings for $18, offering unlimited access from Monday to Sunday. Classes are available for Mixed Level, Intermediate Level, Level 1/2, and Easy Pace. Payment can be made via Interac or PayPal.

Intermediate Level classes are tailored for those well-versed in Iyengar yoga, incorporating Sirsasana and sarvangasana for a minimum of 6 minutes each. Classes also feature arm balances and an introduction to advanced poses.

Newly Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers - Congratulations to Anne-Laure and Paola!

3 Hour Workshop July 27 with Vincent Thillier sign up now at planetyoga.ca/registration. This is an in-person only workshop. $60 if paid on or before July 20, $70 after July 20. 9AM-12. Vincent will teach in French, but he is bilingual. Vincent is from Martinique and is a Level 3 (previously Senior 2) certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher. 4529 rue Clark, Suite 310 in Montreal.
