Art therapy, drama therapy, psychotherapy, music, movement, dance, and Kundalini yoga are all powerful tools practiced to awaken your dormant creativity-and express it. They are accessible to everyone- no talent or previous experience required. Connecting to your creativity through making art, doing yoga, and moving the body will remind you of your never-ending potential to create and re-create, to imagine incessantly, and that manifesting your visions into reality is a very real possibility. Hey everyone!

Hey everyone!
The Seed Lodge is opening its doors this autumn. I wanted to share with you this super exciting opportunity for anyone that needs some quiet time to focus and write. A Room of One’s Own at the SEED lodge is 7-days out of your daily life & responsibilities to immerse yourself completely in your writing life. The SEED lodge is a writer’s paradise, expansive views amongst rolling hills and large expanses of sky, forest, fields and flowers, but most importantly, there is peace and quiet. It is the ideal respite after intense hours of writing. It is two hours north of Toronto near Georgian Bay.

You will have a beautiful private room with a single bed and a desk and access to lovely and functional common areas both indoors and out for you to relax at, write, dream or meditate. There are 56 acres to explore when you need a break and for those of you who need your daily latte, a cute coffee camper down the road. More importantly, you are in the creative hub with the support of 8 other writers alongside you. Held 4 times a year, this is your chance to write that book you have been always dreaming of (or just finish that neverending PhD…).

The cost is $750 + tax for a full week. This includes a one time $30 application fee.

Anxiety is truly a mental condition... it lives in a mind divorced from its own body and, to a certain extent from reality itself. In yoga we call it the "monkey mind" and it is wild.
The solution to feeling less anxiety is to focus less on your thoughts, feel more of your body, notably more of your breath.
SImply bringing your awareness to your breath immediately slows it down, even if it is slightly. Slowing your breath down reduces anxiety. This has been clinically proven.
Learning how to work with and regulate your breath shifts your experience and relationship to your anxiety, by adding your body into the equation and helping you remember:

YOU ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN YOUR THOUGHTS.

Now is the time to say good bye to anxiety and hello to your body and breath.

In psychology, there is a term we refer to as resiliency.⁠

⁠Resilience is the ability to withstand adversity and bounce back from difficult life events. Being resilient does not mean a person doesn't experience stress, emotional upheaval, and suffering. It means that the stress, emotional upheaval or suffering can dissipate or can turn into something else.⁠

⁠In order to be resilient, you need to have a strong nervous system.⁠

⁠To develop a strong nervous system, you need prana.⁠

Prana is life force energy or vitality.

⁠You develop a relationship with prana by breathing consciously.⁠

⁠That’s why breathing is how to get through anything.⁠ FOR REAL.
