Our Story

P.L.A.Y.@LIMITLESS provides Occupational Therapy services in various environments. P.L.A.Y. is an acronym for Promoting Participation in Leisure for Active Youth. There are four divisions, each providing families with various options of where to receive Occupational Therapy Services. P.L.A.Y.@LIMITLESS is established, designed and create by a registered Occupational Therapist. P.L.A.Y.@CLINIC is an Occupational Therapy service offered in the clinic setting. Parents can make an appointment at our affiliated pediatric clinics on the West Island of Montreal for either an evaluation and/or treatment sessions. Each clinic provides evidence-based assessments and treatment approaches that is functional, goal oriented and provides family-centered therapy. The assessments and/or treatments explore strengths and areas of interest to improve daily functioning and participation in leisure activities. Most services are covered by majority of private insurance companies, and insurance receipts are provided for each assessment and/or treatment session. The clinics have a multidisciplinary team available for further consultation, if required. P.L.AY.@HOME provides Occupational Therapy services in the client’s home setting through leisure and play activities, ideal for children under 18 months of age. The services range from providing one-to-one evaluations and treatment for the child, information for the parents, and parent coaching. An evidence-based assessments and treatment approaches are utilized that are functional, goal oriented and provides family-centered therapy. The assessments and/or treatment sessions are covered by most private insurance companies, and insurance receipts are provided for each assessment and/or treatment session. P.L.A.Y.@SCHOOL provides Occupational Therapy services in the school setting targeting skill development to enhance performance in school-based occupations. This type of setting is ideal for children in either pre-school or elementary school. Assessments and/or treatment sessions are done on site, in the school/daycare setting. This would minimize the amount of time missed in class and would not require parents to leave work for appointments. Included in the @SCHOOL services are; assessments, treatment sessions, ongoing collaboration with the school team, seminars/workshops for teachers, and parent information sessions. An evidence-based assessments and treatment approaches are utilized that are functional, goal oriented and provides family-centered therapy. The assessments and/or treatment sessions are covered by most private insurance companies, and insurance receipts are provided for each assessment and/or treatment session. P.L.A.Y.@GYM is a gymnastics based program for children and adults with special needs. In North America, there has been a documented rise in obesity in both children and adults. Those with special needs are at an even higher risk due to their lack of participation in physical activity. The goal of the program is to promote participation in physical activity. P.L.A.Y.@GYM is a very unique program, in that it is designed and developed by a licensed and certified occupational therapist with an extensive knowledge of child development, motor coordination and an extensive knowledge and certification in the sport of gymnastics. It provides an opportunity for adults and children with disabilities to participate and be physically active. The assessments and/or treatment sessions are covered by most private insurance companies, and insurance receipts are provided for each assessment and/or treatment session.
