What a way to close the Conference of Paris!

Today we ended our gathering on a high note with the International Economic Forum of the Americas formalizing a strategic partnership with Choose Paris Region, right here, in front of our community of leaders, innovators, and changemakers.

Baptiste Orlandini (CEO, Choose Paris Region), Nicholas Rémillard (CEO, IEFA), and Cédric Muller (VP of Business Relations & Head of Europe, IEFA) came together to sign an agreement that strengthens the bridge between the North American economic ecosystem and the Paris region.

This partnership brings our shared mission to life: fostering international exchange, creating opportunities for innovation, and building connections that matter.

In uncertain times, we choose certainty in our partnerships, in our shared values, and in our collective future.

Thank you to everyone who made the Conference of Paris unforgettable. See you at the next one !

We are delighted to announce that Mr. Philippe Bourbeau, professor and co-director of the International Institute for Economic Diplomacy at HEC Montréal, will moderate the panel “Defense, Autonomy, and Innovation: Financing Strategic Resilience” at the Conference of Paris.

Why is this session essential? Here is his perspective:

"This panel focuses on resilience, defence and innovation. The international liberal order that shaped relations among countries and institutions for the past several decades has all but disappeared. It is as if we now find ourselves suddenly awakened to the realities of geopolitics, defense thinking, and economic security. Economic security itself spans several dimensions—physical, cyber, and national. When we add the accelerating influence and ubiquity of artificial intelligence, the question becomes: how do you navigate this new global security landscape? This panel will offer stimulating thoughts and insights into this timely and highly relevant question.''

The need for critical minerals has never been so great, and the battle to access them is only beginning. Mike Henry, who leads the largest mining group in the world by market capitalization, will help us understand how the industry is navigating this complex environment and preparing for the future.''
