🌟Skills sharpened, confidence boosted! Today, 37 participants from the McGill Summer Program for International Medical Students were trained by CGS; they enjoyed hands-on practice, mastering critical trauma skills including intubation, chest tube insertion, intraosseous access, and facemask airway management.
Great work by all! 🎉

🌟Des compétences affinées, une confiance renforcée ! Aujourd'hui, 37 étudiants internationaux ont été formés par le CCM et ont pleinement apprécié la mise en pratique de leurs connaissances et ont maîtrisé des techniques essentielles en traumatologie, notamment l'intubation, la pose d'un drain thoracique, l'accès intra-osseux et la gestion des voies respiratoires à l'aide d'un masque facial.

🚨 90% of trauma deaths occur in LMICs. To tackle this crisis, a well-designed trauma registry is essential.

This new study, led by CGS members and partners working in LMICs 🌍, used the Delphi Technique to bring together trauma experts worldwide to identify the most important data for trauma registries in resource-limited settings.

The result? A focused, implementable list of key variables that can improve trauma care, guide system development, and save lives. 🙌

90 % des décès dus à des traumatismes surviennent dans les pays à faible revenu. Pour faire face à cette crise, il est essentiel de disposer d'un registre des traumatismes bien conçu.

Cette nouvelle étude, menée par des membres du CCM et des partenaires travaillant dans les PRFM 🌍 , a utilisé la technique Delphi pour réunir des experts en traumatologie du monde entier afin d'identifier les données les plus importantes pour les registres de traumatologie dans les contextes à ressources limitées.

Le résultat ? Une liste ciblée et applicable de variables clés susceptibles d'améliorer les soins de traumatologie, de guider le développement du système et de sauver des vies. 🙌

✨What incredible 2 weeks in Bulgaria!
We're thrilled to announce that 16 new BLS instructors have been trained, including two from Ukraine who’ll train more back home.
In total, 118 individuals 👏 received essential BLS training!
Great collaboration with the Български Червен кръст (Bulgarian Red Cross), Canadian Red Cross & ERC - European Resuscitation Council.
💥We also had a fantastic lecture day at Медицински университет, град Пловдив (Официална Страница) with the Vice Rector, Dr. Nikoleta Traykova.
Together, we're building a stronger, more resilient community! ❤️
