Sarah Tabah - special needs educator and behavioural support Professional social worker offering a range of family and child services from a behavioural and ecosystemic approach.

Specializing in 0-5yr olds and special needs families. Circle of Security facilitator and SPACE provider. Not all children with disabilities are eligible for public services. I have developed my skills over the past 12 years working with individuals of all ages and with a variety of diagnoses or challenges from a behavioural perspective. In particular I believe in positive interventions, I avoid p

unishment and I set objective thats will reduce problem behaviours and increase functional life skills and communication skills. I offer a variety of services always tailored to the individuals need. I completed my schooling at Concordia University where I hold a B.A in psychology and at Florida Institute of Technology where I have professional development studies in Applied Behaviour Analysis. As mentioned I have worked in Applied Behaviour Analysis for 12 years, the last 8 using a verbal behaviour approach and valourizing autonomy and functional living skills. Such as the ability to express ones needs, perform activities of daily living independently, and strengthening known skills to adjust to existing deficits. I enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and apply the objectives of other disciplines to my own interventions. If my services are too costly for me to be the primary worker I also offer supervision and program development with younger less experienced tutors available.
