Back in January, we posted a video presenting this patient’s amazing results 🤩 just one week after her ultrasonic rhinoplasty. Now, we’re excited to share these beautiful outcomes, two months later! ✨

We’ve had a lot of questions lately about the ultrasonic technique, so here’s a quick reminder ⬇️

Instead of traditional, more invasive techniques, ultrasonic rhinoplasty uses high-frequency sound waves to reshape the nasal bones with incredible precision and gentleness. This means less trauma to surrounding tissues, often leading to fewer bruises, less swelling, and a potentially faster recovery.

For this patient, our goal was to perfectly harmonize her nose with the rest of her face.Using this advanced ultrasonic technology, we meticulously refined and redefined the bridge (the “hump”). We then realigned and centered the bony structure for a more balanced profile and sculpted the nasal tip to give it a defined, natural shape. Every step was performed with precision, ensuring a beautiful result that truly complements the natural harmony of her face. This is why we love the ultrasonic method! 😁🫶

C’est un honneur de co-diriger cette formation aux côtés de ma brillante collègue, la Dre Desroches .mldesroches. Son dévouement et son expertise ont été essentiels pour faire de ce projet une réalité, et je suis reconnaissant pour son expertise et son excellence.

Notre collaboration est au cœur de l’Académie Face MD. Ensemble, nous avons créé un programme rigoureux et sécuritaire, permettant à des dentistes et autres professionnels de la santé de maîtriser les techniques d’injection pour le haut du visage et le bruxisme. This is a perfect example of how a personalized approach lets us achieve beautiful harmony. For this patient, now two months post-op, we were able to restore youthful balance and enhance his natural beauty by performing an ultrasonic rhinoplasty, a chin implant, and a combined fat and nanofat transfer. 🔥

What is the difference between fat transfer and nanofat transfer? 🤔

➡️Traditional fat transfer (fat grafting) primarily focuses on adding volume to sculpt and restore contours, addressing areas that have lost fullness. In this case, we used fat transfer for the cheekbones, temples, tear troughs, piriform area, and pre-jowl area.

➡️ Nanofat transfer is injected more superficially to promote skin regeneration and enhance overall skin quality. It’s great for refining texture and reducing fine lines or wrinkles that may not fully respond to other treatments. In this case, we applied nanofat to the forehead to reduce his deep wrinkles.

It is this precise, individualized combination of procedures that consistently allows us to deliver such natural and beautifully balanced results for our patients. 🫶🏼✨

I’m beyond excited to share a glimpse of an incredible nose transformation we achieved this week! 🤩🙌

This was truly one of the most significantly deviated noses I’ve had the privilege to operate on. Transformations like this are often the most profoundly life-changing for patients, not just physically but emotionally as well. Seeing such a dramatic improvement right away is incredibly rewarding, especially knowing how much it can boost a patient’s confidence and quality of life.

2 MONTHS POST-OP ULTRASONIC RHINOPLASTY ON THICK SKIN 👃🤩

This wonderful patient came to me with a common desire: to smooth out a bump on her nose and lift her tip. She also had what we call thick nasal skin. While not a medical issue, thick skin presents unique considerations for rhinoplasty.

Why is thick nasal skin more challenging? 🤔

👉 The skin acts like a soft blanket, subtly camouflaging the intricate changes I make to the underlying bone and cartilage. This means achieving super sharp, delicate contours can be trickier, as the sculpted framework is less visible.
Patience is key for both of us. The final results, especially with thicker skin, take longer to fully reveal themselves as the skin gradually settles and conforms to its new shape. Rest assured, with a thoughtful approach, we can still achieve beautiful, harmonious results. 🙏

Look at this beautiful nose transformation 9 months post-op! 🤩

This lovely patient visited us hoping the hump on her nose. As we proceeded with the surgery, we uncovered a slight deviation in the bridge, which we were able to successfully correct. We are very pleased with the results! ✨
