We can’t control certain things. Many things in fact.

A reminder for us all, is that things happen for us, not to us.

All I know is that I have the capacity, as do you, to hold the ups and downs, the light and the dark; all the emotions are welcomed and nothing is permanent.

Life is precious, so do the damn thing! ✨

Just met with to chat about our retreat next week and we are beeeeeyond excited!!! We are making it happen, cannot wait to meet her in the flesh next Thursday when I pick her up at the airport.

There is certainly wild fire horse energy for me happening right now; and this doesn’t mean all β€˜positive’ stuff, this means movement, power, collaboration, joining forces, women coming together, nurturing…all of it! πŸ’«

This one really struck me.

I heard it on the Tendher Wild podcast episode of their fave quotes.

Read it over a few times. Think about how it applies to different areas of your life, your work, relationships, parenting, doing tasks. Perfectionism is a powerful thing. It can debilitate and paralyze us. It can also help us to strive and get far but at what cost sometimes?

Let me know what you think about this one. πŸ€”

This!

Somewhere along the way, rest became something you had to earn.

You finish the week running on fumes, and even then, stopping feels like a risk. Like the moment you let go, something will slip. Like the people who keep going are the ones who actually care.

The neuroscience says otherwise. A mind that never fully recovers doesn't perform. It compensates. There is a significant difference between those two things, and you feel it in the quality of your thinking, your patience, your ability to be present with the people you love.

One day a week of genuine rest is not indulgence. It is maintenance. The same way you would not run a car indefinitely without a service and expect it to perform, your mind requires deliberate recovery to operate at the level you are asking of it.

This is your reminder that today counts. Use it well by doing less than you think you should.

Send this to someone who needs permission to stop today. They probably won't send it to themselves. πŸ‘‡

Deep truth: all true healing happens when it leads to the body knowing that it is safe.

Creating felt safety is the quiet foundation that calms chronic inflammation, regulates your nervous system, and brings hormones, inflammation and gut health back into balance. When your nervous system finally registers β€œI am safe,” it shifts out of survival mode and into repair β€” digestion improves, inflammation quiets, hormones stabilize, and deep healing becomes possible.

You send these safety signals in both physical and mind-body ways.

Physically: stable blood sugar, healing the gut, foods that love your body back, clearing environmental toxins, restorative sleep, hydration all make the body feel safe.

Mind-body: slow breathwork with longer exhales, safe self-touch, compassionate inner dialogue, co-regulation with trusted people, grounding practices, vagal nerve stimulation, time in nature or somatic movements to clear past trauma and stress.

Your body is always listening for proof that the danger has passed. Give it consistent safety signals β€” small, repeatable, and kind β€” and watch inflammation ease, your nervous system soften, and your hormones find their natural rhythm.
