So how are you, my skeptics? Have you been having dreeeeeeaaaaaams? You know, where you wake up and go "Oh my! What was that? Those spirits sure were convincing. I will proceed now to transfer all my money to this delightful ugly Arab with the Facebook group."
No?
Well, you will soon.
So where were we?
Oh yes.
LESSON NUMBER FOUR
Now that we are experts in numerology, let's get down and discover our four suits.
I won't feel too good if we don't do a run down of the numbers first though. We all got that part, right?
One is the thing itself, two is union, three is birth, four is the founding, 5 is doubts, 6 is epiphany, 7 is magic, 8 is the production machine, 9 is the magical hermit, and 10 is plenty. Good? Good.
But yeah, founding what? A plenty of what? Producing what?
That's where the suits come in.
Just like the normal playing card deck, we have four suits, and here we probably have to do a leap of credulity. We are at a time in history where we don't classify the world as such anymore. But there won't be any difficulty to get the gist of it pretty quick because we did not get rid of all of this at the same time across the world, and plenty of historical remnants and pop culture references still gives this concept a few breaths, giving this dying colossus a few more weeks.
That concept relies on the idea that existence is made up of fire, wind, water and earth. And here's the thing with classifications, it always makes sense while being always wrong. Wrong because there is no scientific data behind any of this but it feels right. A lion, is it a fire animal or a water animal? How about an elephant? Is it an Earth animal or a wind animal? The answers seem elementary but we don't know what we're answering exactly. It's one of these instances where you have to give the question the benefit of a doubt because the answer is so elementary.
So what we do have here in that picture? Let's start from left to right. Ace of Wands. Wands represents fire. Now you might ask where the fire is in the picture. And here's the thing. Fire is energy. It's the impetus. It's the force that makes things move. A wand moves to have effect. A wand has to move to be a wand or else it's a stick. You can notice there are small green spots sprouting. There's movement from without and within. What we see in the distance is an empire. It's summer. We're hot and ready to move. A clear goal. So when we want to apply numerology on those f**kers, it has to be coupled with energy, zest, and our resilience and aptitude to get things done.
The second suit we have here is the Cup. And I know you already know 50% of what I'm gonna say. And that's the thing with Tarot, it is surprisingly exhaustive, impressive in its totality. You don't get instances like "what about a card that shows our inability to find love?" and yeah f**k you, we don't have that in the tarot, next! Never. So what I meant by 'now you should know' is first because by now we have tickled your intuitive glands and also because you just deduce what's left of the everything.
So yeah, cups, emotions, love, care, all the matters of the heart, whether to propel us like graceful salmons or drown us to the depths. You notice there is no horizon. Only the swamp. The Cup cards are personal and inspirational. It's autumn. There is a light breeze and it drizzles. They deal with the you in the now and how that makes you feel.
The third is the swords. I am an Aquarius, which is an air sign and I have an extremely complicated relationship with these cards, and objectively if one suit f**ks s**t up more than any other, that would be the swords. So here we're talking about air here, thoughts, devising plans, thinking outside the box, survival assured by leaps of the mind. The landscape is arid, there is no time for frivolity. It is winter. The whole landscape is frozen shut, and only the mind can travel across it.
And now finally we have the pentacles? What's left? Yes, Earth. Fu**in' finally. Do I need to say anything? Spring, a festival, celebrating plenty, fu***ng in every tent, drinks go down, the burning of your throat as they go down and that little dizziness immediately after. This is the card of earth. Your social standing, the food in your fridge, the partners who feast on your ge****ls, or the soft battering you feel at the tip of your fingers after playing Solfeggietto.
So that's it. Everything in the world, put in 4 categories.
Can you feel it f**kers? How things are aligning where they have no reason to? Muhahahahahaha, can you feel these hands on your ankles?
Welcome to the mystic world, skeptics booooooooooo *cough* f**k! sorry, I think I swallowed a gummy bear whole.
S**t man. I could've killed myself there.
So yeah, booooooooooooooooo and see you next time.
