Spring is nesting season. That tree you're planning to trim might house a family of baby birds who can't fly yet.
Every year, countless bird families lose their homes to chainsaws during the worst possible time—when chicks are helpless in the nest.
Before you cut, check twice:

Look for nests before any tree work
Wait until late summer when babies have fledged
Trim only dead branches during nesting season (March-August)
Listen for chirping—baby birds are loud when hungry

Birds return to the same nesting spots year after year. Destroying one nest can end generations of families.
A few months of patience can save entire bird families. They've waited all winter to raise their young safely.
Let them finish what they started.
