Tao Shiatsu is a unique healing practice combining traditional Japanese shiatsu techniques and the principles of Mahayana Buddhism. Tao Shiatsu practitioner treats the whole person through the application of steady continuous pressure along the meridians (or Ki channels) in the neck, back, arms, hands, legs and feet. The goal of Tao Shiatsu is to stimulate the body’s internal healing power by releasing stagnated and toxic Ki and improving the circulation in the body.
This healing modality is very effective in reducing stress and anxiety, increasing vitality, improving sleep and contributing to the overall sense of well-being and happiness.
