According to city bylaws, Montréal owners of cats and dogs over six months of age must have their pet microchipped before January 1, 2020.

Is this stuff really safe?

Revolution is a topical product used for flea and heart worm protection. The active ingredient is Selamectin.

Here’s some information I copied from the Selamectin Safety Data Sheet.

Section 2 Hazards Identification;

H361 - Suspected of damaging fertility or the unborn child.

Long Term Hazards - Repeat dose studies in animals have shown a potential to cause adverse effects on liver, reproductive system, and the developing fetus.

A 1 year suspension. Seriously?
