NUTS and SEEDS! Yes, that's right :) not only can you find such natural products that are calcium-rich, they also contain many other fantastic vitamins and minerals! Here are some examples: chia seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame, flaxseed, almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios... Many nuts and seeds have calcium, magnesium and vitamin K (among others) that are all required for strong bones! And that means... stronger teeth and bones that support your gums! Even if you lose a few teeth, having strong teeth and healthy gums helps for comfort and better hold for partial dentures. And if you have lost all your teeth, you still need to have enough bone mass and gum tissue to have a better fitting pair of dentures. Do you wear dentures an are afraid of nuts since they are hard and dry? Did you know that you can soak both seeds and nuts? They become almost like fresh nuts and are absolutely delicious!
