Stop listening to win the argument. Start listening to understand the person in front of you. 🧠💬 It’s easy to get caught up in “being right,” but true connection happens when you hear what’s really being said. Don’t just wait for your turn to speak, take the time to truly listen. When you do, your relationships will go from surface-level to deeper, more meaningful connections. This will also help deepen your listening SKILLS (because they are skills to work on, not something you innately have).

Long story short, use the 3 second rule here. Listen to what the other person is saying and pause for 3 seconds before responding, to make sure you're responding to actually communicate and NOT to win. The relationship doesn't win if just one of you does.
