Is starting therapy part of your 2026 resolutions but it feels too overwhelming? You may benefit from joining our DBT group!

🫂 A lot of people hear “group therapy” and picture a support group : sharing stories, offering encouragement, and connecting.

Valuable? Absolutely.

But a DBT group is something very different.

Here’s what sets it apart ⤵️

🧠 1. It’s skills-based.
Not just talking, but learning. You’ll practice evidence-based tools for emotion regulation, relationships, and distress tolerance. Think: an emotional skills class with warmth and structure.

📚 2. There’s a clear framework.
Each session includes:
• A brief lesson
• Guided skills practice
• Optional reflection
• Homework to help you use the skills in real life

🤝 3. Led by trained therapists.
You’re guided by our two supervised therapists so the space stays safe, supported, and focused on growth.

🌱 4. Growth-focused, not just validation-focused.
Support alone is great. DBT adds action. You’ll learn what to do next when emotions feel intense.

👥 5. Small + connected.
Only 8 participants, meeting weekly (virtually) for 12 sessions, so everyone gets adequate attention and enough time to practice.

‼️ In case you missed it, we extended the start date to January 14th 2026 to better fit your schedule.

🔗 There’s still time to join! Spots are limited, sign up through the link in our bio!

🇨🇦 Open to Quebec and Ontario residents!

Have you ever felt like you’ve tried therapy… but you’re still stuck in the same patterns?

It doesn’t mean you’ve failed. Sometimes it just means you need a different kind of support.

That’s where DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) comes in.

DBT isn’t just talking about your emotions. It teaches you what to do when they feel too intense, overwhelming, or too hard to navigate alone.

In our DBT Skills Group, you’ll learn tools to:
🧘‍♀️ calm your body when anxiety spikes
💬 communicate when you want to shut down
💛 manage urges without acting on them
🌱 move through emotions instead of getting stuck in them

If nothing else has helped, our DBT Support Group led by our two Supervised Therapists, Sana and Samantha, might be the thing that finally clicks.

📅 Updated start date: January 14th, 2026

We’ve extended our start date to give more clients the chance to join and to better meet everyone’s availability.

🇨🇦 Open to residents from Quebec and Ontario.

Rappelle-toi :

Joyeuses fêtes!!

12/04/2025

Eating disorders are not about willpower or personal choice. The words we use with someone who’s struggling matter more than we often realize.

They’re complex mental health conditions shaped by biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors, which means seemingly harmless comments can land in painful or triggering ways.

This post highlights things you shouldn’t say to someone with an eating disorder, not to shame anyone, but to help you understand why certain phrases can unintentionally increase guilt, distress, or isolation, even when the intention is supportive.

As you read through, keep these reminders in mind:

• Comments about someone’s body or food choices can still cause harm, even when meant kindly.

• We never know who is struggling, or what they’re navigating beneath the surface.

• Supportive language helps create safety, while dismissive or body-focused language can deepen shame.

Healing happens in environments that feel compassionate, curious, and validating, and that begins with the words we choose.

💙 Save this post whenever you need a reminder, and share it with someone who might benefit from a more supportive way of talking about EDs.
