Déjà 5 ans de pratique! 🎉☯️✨

L’acupuncture a été un retour aux sources : culturel, familial mais aussi vers plus de bien-être tant pour autrui que pour moi-même. Infiniment reconnaissante à la vie d’avoir trouvé cette voie si riche en sagesse, reconnectant le corps et l’esprit à l’univers qui l’entoure. C’est un absolu privilège de pouvoir rendre la parenthèse d’espace et de temps qu’est la vie humaine plus agréable et harmonieuse… et merci à vous d’être au(x) rendez-vous!

Y acquérir enfin les compétences nécessaires au suivi sécuritaire de la grossesse en acupuncture et au traitement des multiples problématiques qui y sont liées. Post facial feminization surgery (FFS) acupuncture scarcare. FFS aims at feminizing the features of transfeminine people and trans women by reducing male features developed with testosterone at puberty. FFS can include forehead reconstruction and lowering of the hairline.

Different incision locations are possible with the most visible one being the hairline incision. Acupuncture can support the healing process of the scar by increasing flexibility, reducing bumpiness and redness of the scar tissue while stimulating nerve connectivity and vascularization. Acupuncture can be started as soon as 6 weeks post surgery.

Here is an example of a patient who after 4 weekly treatments reported increased sensation in the scalp, reduced discomfort and itching as well as reduced tension in the hairline, eyes and forehead area.

It is always a great pleasure and honor to be able to support fellow trans people in their healing journey towards self affirmation. ☯️ ✨

Excited to announce that i will take part as an acupuncturist in a q***r bodyworkers’ discussion panel for ✊🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

We’ll be presenting our work in post-op trans care, more specifically around scar healing work for post gender affirming surgery. I’ll be joined by amazing and dedicated fellow bodyworkers .bodywork .resistance.bodywork 🏳️‍⚧️✨
