I think few people truly understand the intimate relationship between a yoga teacher and a practitioner.

I’ve been fortunate to share this practice for 25 years—15 of those with Krayna Golfman, who, among many things, was a fabulous art collector, fashionista, and philanthropist.

Her passing has touched me deeply. In many ways, it feels like the end of an era—and like I’ve lost a friend.

I always cherish my time with my students and the many stories shared with me.

I’m grateful for all of it—for being Krayna’s teacher, and for this path I get to call my career.
What a blessing 🤍

Hope everybunny had a restful weekend 🐰🌷 Did you get to pause little, breath a little and reset a little?

It’s really important to have at least one friend whose ponytail you can blow your nose in… and who will always make you feel completely normal — no matter the context 🤍

Sto Lat Sto Lat , my oldest & weirdest Cheez-Wiz-loving friend, my soul sister and my style icon for the last 45 years ✨

In your upcoming year of life and beyond, I wish you endless creativity, boundless energy, goal crushing workouts, hilarious adventures, sweet dance choreographies, badass bonuses, lots of homey home time, fabulous concerts (with me) and great poops 💩

Happy Lunar New Year ✨🐎 🔥
A turning of the wheel. A spark of new energy. A fresh beginning.

I honour the beauty of traditions that remind us to pause, reset, and welcome prosperity in all its forms — health, joy, courage, connection.

I may not celebrate this holiday by heritage, but I deeply respect the ritual of renewal it invites.

Here’s to stepping forward with clarity, vitality, and an open heart.

Bring it on — I’m ready. We’re ready.

Wishing you a year of abundance, vibrant health, and meaningful growth.

Winter is not the season for constant stimulation.

It is the season for slow dopamine.

The kind that nourishes the nervous system instead of depleting it.

Warm light.
Quiet movement.
Good books.
Long exhales.
Sun on your face.
Connection.

Small rituals practiced consistently create a winter that feels steadier, softer… even meaningful.

This is how we build resilience — not through intensity, but through rhythm.

If you want more ideas to support your energy, mood, and wellbeing this season, my Soulful Winter Bucket List is still available.

Winter reminds us that warmth has very little to do with temperature.

Life lately — a season of contrasts: deep rest and lively gatherings, family traditions and chosen family, sparkles and soup, yoga and late-night laughter.

Keep warm — in all the ways that matter. ❄️

Many of these moments are woven through my Soulful Winter Bucket List.

Comment “WINTER” and I’ll send you the full list.

There’s a lot happening in the world right now.
If you’re sensitive, empathetic, or deeply aware, you may be feeling overwhelmed by fear and grief. (I am too.)

These are three simple practices I return to when I feel frozen or helpless under the weight of the world.

We don’t have to disconnect —
but we do need ways to process what we absorb, so we can be good allies, engaged activists, and fully present in our lives.

✨ Let me know if this helps
✨ And feel free to share your own practices below

Sending you love & care 🙏

What are you ready to welcome?

Happy Solstice ✨

Today marks the turning of the light — a pause between what’s been and what’s becoming.

To honour the season, I created a Soulful Winter Bucket List with 108 adventures, rituals & joys inspired by yoga, Ayurveda, nature, hygge living, play, rest, and reflection.

Think:
❄️ yoga in the snow
🕯️ candlelit rituals
🔥 winter bonfires
☕ chai for your dosha
💫 letting go + visioning ahead

There’s no rush. No pressure to do it all.
Just gentle invitations to slow down, warm up, and live this season fully.

May this winter meet you with softness, courage, and quiet magic.

Sometimes it’s just a matter of time — of day.

Your body is responsive, not inconsistent.
Morning asks for patience.
Evening (usually) offers more ease.

Did you know there’s a magical forest ashram just 150 km from Montreal — and that anyone can come?
It’s become my home away from home.

I’m here training in Meru Chikitsa, an Ayurvedic therapy for the spine and nervous system.

And in less than two weeks, our beloved returns, with special programs during his visit.

Have you ever been to an ashram? What was your experience like?

🌲❄️
