Fear imagines, but Truth stabilizes.

Your brain is wired to fill in the unknown with the worst-case scenario.

This is called catastrophic prediction, and it’s a normal survival response.

Signs you’re in a spiral:
⚡ Your mind keeps jumping 10 steps ahead
🌪️ You imagine the worst without evidence
🧠 You feel “stuck” in what-if loops
💭 You can’t find a clear next step
💥 You are in overdrive with intense physical stressors

What helps?
Bringing your mind back into the present, not the future.

Your brain can learn this.

You don’t owe anyone a perfect explanation — just a simple doorway into your experience.

This 3-step structure keeps things gentle for you and clear for them:
1 — “Here’s what’s happening.”
2 — “Here’s how I’m feeling about it.”
3 — “Here’s what would help me right now.”

It reduces pressure.
It prevents emotional overload.
It helps your support system actually support you.

You don’t need perfect words.

Let’s talk about why your emotions feel so intense right now.

After a diagnosis, your brain enters a state called hypervigilance — meaning it scans for danger nonstop.

This can cause:
⚡ random spikes of fear
🧠 trouble concentrating
💤 exhaustion
💓 body awareness
🌫️ feeling disconnected

This isn't “in your head.”
It's your nervous system trying to protect you — even when the threat is internal.
