Hi everyone!! 🦷McGill Dentistry Gives Back🦷 is hosting its annual Valentine’s Day Candy Grams sale!! What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than to give sweets to those you love??
All of the proceeds raised will go towards the McGill Mobile Dental Clinic to improve access to dental care within our community. ♥️🤗😁
Deadline to order: Friday, February 9th at 11:59pm
Delivery/Pick-up Day: Wednesday, February 14th
DMD II, III, IV pick-up/delivery will take place within the pre-clinic/clinic spaces.
DMD I, MED I, and MED II pick up/delivery will take place within McIntyre Medical Building.
**Exact pickup times and locations may be sent closer to the date of delivery depending on the order.

Hello everyone! 🦷 Dent Gives Back 🦷 is hosting our first fundraiser of the year 🥳
For Valentine's day, share some joy with your friends and loved ones while supporting our club’s initiative ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍.
All proceeds will be going towards the McGill Community Outreach clinics, which provide dental care to low-income and disadvantaged populations.
The final deadline to purchase a candy gram is February 4th 11:59pm. While supplies last! The pick-up will take place on February 14th (time and pick-up location TBD; no worries, it will happen after our block E midterm 😉).
For DMD II-IV, we will deliver your orders to your lockers :)

McGill Dentistry Gives Back is having a bargain book sale! Novels, cookbooks, coffee table reads and more: check out the catalogue coming out this Friday to find something you love! A minimum donation of $5 is recommended for all books (with the exception of textbooks). Stay tuned!

Gives Back provides the opportunity to make a difference in the Montreal community. Accessible dental care can be life-changing through alleviating one’s oral pain or making one more confident in their smile. Being part of this team allows us to support the outreach clinics until we can provide dental care ourselves!

Every year, McGill’s Service to the Community Program serves thousands of patients who would otherwise not have access to dental care. Patients receive care from our various clinics, which include the McGill Mobile Dental Clinic (MMDC), the Undergraduate Teaching Clinic, the Pediatric Clinic at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, the Jim Lund Clinic at the Welcome Mission Hall, and the Summer Clinic. All of these clinics provide free or reduced cost dental care to vulnerable members of the Montreal community.
As first-year dental students, we are introduced to McGill Dentistry’s Service to the Community Program through our participation in the McGill Mobile Dental Clinic (MMDC), where we assist and shadow the third- and fourth-year dental students. It’s an enriching experience to help our peers and interact with the patients, and we want to do even more!
We’re asking for your support so that the Service to the Community Program can continue to fund treatments for our patients. So far, this Program has had an incredible impact in the Montreal community:
Mobile Dental Clinic has treated 132 patients, providing $84,823 worth of free dental care.
Undergraduate Teaching Clinic has treated 3,252 patients, providing $2,346,224 worth of reduced cost dental care.
Jim Lund Clinic has treated 721 patients, providing $345,413 worth of free dental care
Pediatric Clinic has treated 150 patients, providing $51,571 worth of free dental care
Summer Clinic has treated 953 patients, providing $451,928 worth of free dental care
The success of these clinics depends on philanthropic support from donors. Please help us continue McGill Dentistry’s important mission to provide free and reduced-cost, quality dental care to as many patients as possible in the Montreal community!
