Tiger Lotus Co-op

Tiger Lotus Co-op TLC is a healing and wellness collective centred on the uterus. They are also more likely to be caregivers, which can have an impact on their time.

Tiger Lotus Collective is made up of practitioners and educators in Montreal passionate about healing and its many forms. We believe the health care system, with its narrow scope of treatments and overburdened hospitals and clinics, is largely unequipped to deal with women and trans physical and psychological issues. We focus on providing a preventative instead of curative model of health care and

try to educate people about their bodies and spirits, and how best to care for them in the day-to-day.

Many of the problems people with uteruses, vulvas, cervixes, etc. face, from painful menstruation to body pain and infertility, come from the reality of our society, which is rushed, stressful, focused on productivity and money. For example, despite the rise of men’s involvement in domestic life, women continue to spend more time combined at work and on domestic responsibilities. According to Statistics Canada, 15.3% of females in Canada reported having a diagnosed mood or anxiety disorder, with females in the age range of 18-64 years of age reporting higher levels, compared with 9.1% of males. Beyond that, a diagnosed mood or anxiety disorder were more than twice as likely to say they experienced daily stress. Among this population, 40.7% reported that most of their days were quite a bit or extremely stressful.6

As a collective, we work to relieve stress, depression, anxiety and chronic pain, by creating a healing space where your body can use its own internal resources to heal itself. Our treatments are adapted to the physical and emotional constitution of the client. We provide you with healing resources beyond the treatment.

ALL are welcome in this trauma-sensitive space. If you've never tried Kundalini, you should, at least once. It's a magical mix of breathwork, mantra, movement, relaxation, & meditation dedicated to circulating stuck energy, rousing untapped potential, and helping us access and align with our inner truth, our core intuition.
