Since the early 1990s, there has been a rapid advance in knowledge of how and where in the body these cannabinoids act to produce their effects. As a result, there is now vastly increased scientific literature dealing in part with current therapeutic uses of cannabis and cannabinoids, and in even larger part with possible future developments for medical uses"

Further to the federal government’s decision to legalize cannabis and to the bill tabled on April 13, 2017, the Québec Government is launching a process of consultation and dialogue that will result in a framework bill to be tabled in Fall 2017.
