This Retrograde Season Has Me Feeling A Certain Way.....
Leo season rises —
all big-cat swagger and gold-lit promise.
But hear me:
this is not about worshipping the outer sun.
It’s about stoking the inner one,
that ember in your marrow that glows even when midnight forgets your name.
I’m no butterfly in a sacred cocoon;
I’m the cicada—
underground, unseen, years in the dark,
then bursting out in full-throated song
on my divine timeline.
A goddess blooms on her own time
and the world adjusts its clocks.
Feel that?
That’s the flame inside my chest,
spinning into a halo of embodiment:
Courage as my Crown.
This morning,I breathed life into my business,
my body, my becoming,
the way Isis breathed resurrection into Osiris—
holy lips on holy bones,
love re-membering itself.
Don’t get it twisted.
I’m holy and hood.
I burn sage with one hand,
balance the books with the other,
and wear barefoot runners under my dress
The cage?
It was made of silver spiderwebs—
filaments of fear, barely visible
until the right light hit,
until intention sliced the strands,
and I saw it for what it was
like an elephant tied to a chair
Retrograde season says:
reclaim, rewire, rewild, remember.
Dive deep into every re-
until you resurrect the real.
Because the sun — Leo’s ruling fire —
The luminary
Like the moon to Cancer
only mirrors what you let blaze inside.
And me?
I’m lit.
Lit like prophecy.
Lit like truth that finally found its lungs.
Lit like the next era of my empire
calling itself home.
Something is awakening within me
Something ancient
Designed, Destiny, yet unwritten
Felt, Feared and yet
Revered
And I am so fkn here for it!
