The Moose Jaw Health Foundation is honoured to share this message from the Ramadan family, dedicated to the retirement of Dr. Fauzi B. Ramadan. 💙
“We honour not only the retirement of Dr. Fauzi B. Ramadan, but a lifetime defined by service, integrity, and quiet excellence.
For over 26 years, he cared for the people of Moose Jaw and surrounding communities with compassion and unwavering commitment. His work across Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, Intensive Care, leadership roles, and Hyperbaric Medicine was never about titles — it was about responsibility to his patients, his colleagues, and the community he faithfully served.
To his patients, he was a trusted physician; to his colleagues, a steady leader; and to us, his family, a constant example of perseverance, ethics, and service beyond self.
Many did not see the sacrifices behind this career — the long hours, missed moments, and the emotional weight of caring so deeply. Yet he never complained. He believed medicine was an amanah, a trust, and he fulfilled it with dignity.
Dad, your legacy lives not only in the roles you held or the lives you saved, but in every patient who felt heard, every trainee you guided, and every standard you quietly raised by doing what was right.
As you enter this new chapter, may it be filled with peace, good health, and the rest you so fully deserve. Your service has left a lasting mark, and your example will continue to guide those of us who walk behind you, continuing your legacy in serving the people of Saskatchewan.”
