Please help us welcome Shay Chubb, SLP, to the clinic! 🎉

Shay brings 13 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, primarily in private practice. She works with early language learners, speech sound disorders, and fluency, and has a special interest in motor speech disorders 🙌

When she’s not in the clinic, Shay is living farm life just outside of Assiniboia with her husband and three busy kids 🚜🌾 — or teaching fitness classes and staying on the move!

We are so excited to have Shay’s experience, energy, and heart for families joining our team.

We’re excited to celebrate our third Winter Wonderland event at the Moose Jaw Early Years Family Resource Centre! ⛄💙

Once again, we’re proud to sponsor this special community event alongside our wonderful early years partners. Together, we’re bringing families a magical morning filled with winter-themed activities and collaboration. ❄️

Families with children ages 0–5 are invited to enjoy both indoor and outdoor winter fun, including horse-drawn wagon rides, take-home activity bags, hot chocolate and a special Music & Movement program at 10:30 a.m. 🎶

This is a FREE family event where parents and children can play, explore, and make lasting memories together during the holiday season. 🎄

Welcome, Shameem Arndt!
We’re excited to welcome Shameem to our team!

Shameem is a retired teacher with over 30 years of experience in the Prairie South School Division. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina and has taught students from pre-K to Grade 12 in a variety of roles.

She also works as a substitute teacher in Moose Jaw and is passionate about creating a safe, supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.

We are so excited to have her expertise here at Prairie Basic as a tutor!
