I say this often, but today I felt it in such a deep way — that I just had to share it.

As a mom of three, there are days when life is beautiful, busy, and honestly… chaotic.

And every now and then, I need a bit of flexibility in my schedule so I can show up for my kids the way they need.

What continues to amaze me is how understanding, kind, and gracious my patients are.

You give me the space to be both the provider you trust and the mom my kiddos depend on.

Your patience, your flexibility, your “don’t worry about it, I get it” energy — it means more than you know. 🥲

Thank you for allowing me to care for you while also caring for my family. It’s something I never take for granted.

The plot twist?

Feeling good isn’t some fluke or magic pill - it’s chemistry, rhythm, alignment, doing the things we know we should do, but don’t feel “fancy” enough.

And of course sometimes it feels easier to skip the water, the walk, the journalling or whatever helps you, and just hit “numb”.

But the real high?
Waking up feeling amazing in our bodies, clear-headed, calm, and actually present and fully alive in your day.

That’s worth all the effort in my opinion. 😉

If you aren’t aware yet, sleep is one of the most powerful tools we have for healthy hormones, mood, metabolism and energy.

And while maybe the amount of sleep you got in your 20’s felt sufficient at the time, moving into your 40’s with the same mind set just won’t cut it anymore.

Wear that watch you own but never sleep with on (😉 I know it’s annoying to sleep with a watch on - better yet, get yourself an ) and track it for a week or two. You might be surprised what you can find out.

I promise you, no supplement, smoothie or dietary change can replace what your body does between 10 pm and 6 am.

Let’s talk about chocolate 🍫
(or whatever your body starts craving right before your period).

That urge for sweets in your luteal phase (the week or so before your bleed) isn’t a lack of willpower — it’s information.

It’s your body saying:
🌙 “I’m working hard right now.”
🌿 “I need more magnesium, serotonin, and grounding.”
🔥 “Please slow down and feed me something real.”

Instead of fighting your cravings, try listening to them.

Chocolate cravings often point to:
✨ low magnesium
✨ blood sugar dips
✨ stress + low progesterone
✨ lack of comfort or downtime

Your body isn’t dramatic.
She’s communicating.

And when you respond with nourishment instead of restriction, everything softens — your mood, your cramps, your energy.

So yeah, while some chocolate is fine, let’s also… give her what she’s really asking for. 💛
