I’ve been insanely inactive on here for you all
But….
After our vacation home we found out we are having a baby!!!! 👶🏼😊
I have been attempting to navigate how to still provide for you all in way that is safe for baby. As well as resting, finding ways to be healthy and still active.
I am currently not professionally trained in prenatal yoga, however it certainly is one of my goals.
I will slowly be more present for you all. And hope you reach out anytime for questions about anything yoga or lifestyle

KEEP GOING

We tend to feel exhausted, depleted or tired going through traumatic/difficult events or working endlessly for our goals.

You think to yourself that it would be better to take away the pain and struggle you went through.

But if the pain goes so does the strength you gained.

The feeling you get after coming out the other side of a situation or challenge... the feeling of “ oh I did it! “
That’s growth and it can not be taken away.

Show the world but more importantly show yourself what you can do. You will persevere.

Remind yourself during the times you feel you just can’t get through it to KEEP GOING!

You didn’t come this far to only come this far.
You have the strength in you I know it!

JUNE Class Schedule!!

First classes! Every body and all levels welcome, it’s a new journey for me as well.

With working shift work (days and nights) I did my best to offer a set of classes for the month at different times.

Classes will be through Zoom

To sign up please email or message through DM or FB

For drop in classes you can notify me 48 hours before class. This will ensure I have seen your message and get the invite emailed out to you

Each class will be emailed to you for the link to zoom class the day before.

Details of each class will be included in email invite. Theme, props and intention.

An introduction is in order!

For those that don’t know me my name is Megan Trites.

I’m a Professional Geologist and currently working as Underground Mine Production Supervisor. Been in the geology/mining industry for 12 years, it’s a huge part of my life.

Originally from New Brunswick (Maritime proud!) living in Moosomin, SK. I am married to a guy that goes above and beyond for me, more than I deserve. Have 2 fur babies, that we spoil and love so much.

I love love to travel the world; it’s a passion I will never let go of. 14 countries and many many more to go.

I started doing yoga about 7 years ago off and on. Loved it and knew one day I’d like to teach, not only to offer it to others but to help progress my own practice. Not just for my body but my mind.

Am I an advanced yogi or flexible? NOPE. One thing you will get from me is being REAL and no judgment. Everyone is at different stages including myself so let’s embrace it.

I am a registered 200hr yoga teacher recently and thought no better time than now to get doing what I’ve been wanting to do. Is it uncomfortable and make me slightly nervous? YUP

Being uncomfortable is how I know I’m challenging myself and doing something new to better myself.

You may be thinking “Geologist/underground Supervisor and teaches yoga...seems odd “ . Is it though?

Surprise people with your true self. There is more to me than just work and my profession. Do whatever makes you feel good and happy.

I don’t often post selfies but connecting a face to Pura Sōma was important to me.

You’ll get to know me more soon enough
