This summer we are excited to bring a monthly Chair Yoga series to the library and out into the community.

After so many great conversations and feedback at the Wellness & Healing Expo, one thing became very clear — people are looking for movement that feels approachable, supportive, and accessible for every stage of life.

These classes are designed to show just how versatile yoga can be. No need to touch your toes or get up and down from the floor. We will focus on gentle stretches, mindful movement, and simple exercises to help improve mobility, balance, flexibility, and ease in daily life.

Chair Yoga is a wonderful option for older adults, beginners, those returning to movement after injury or illness, or anyone wanting a gentler practice while still experiencing the benefits of yoga.

Our goal is simple: help keep the body moving with a little more comfort and ease at any age. We can’t wait to share these classes with the community this summer.

This Sunday’s Restorative Yoga class is the perfect chance to settle in, take a deep breath, and give yourself a little space to reset. Our theme will centre around spring cleaning for the mind, body, and soul. We’ll work on releasing tension, quieting the mental clutter, and creating space for a little more ease and clarity.

With Sunday expected to be a rainy day and the studio warm and cozy inside, it feels like the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Restorative Yoga is back

Join us Sunday, May 17th for a deeply calming practice designed to help you reset your nervous system and truly slow down.

This class is all about support and ease. You’ll be gently guided into restful, prop-supported shapes, allowing the body to soften without effort. As you settle in, we’ll weave in meditation and quiet reflection to help you release tension and create space within.

This month’s theme is a spring clean for the mind, body, and soul. A chance to let go of what feels heavy and reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity, and lightness.

Starting Tuesday, May 12th, we’re welcoming back one of our most loved classes. Gentle Yoga has been part of our studio since the very beginning, and it continues to be one of my personal favourites.

This class is perfect for beginners and seniors, or anyone looking for a slower, more supportive practice. We focus on simple, intentional movements that build mobility and stability so your body can move through daily life with more ease and comfort.

It’s a calm, welcoming space where you can take your time, move at your own pace, and feel supported every step of the way.

Mom + Baby Yoga is back next week

This one feels extra special for me. I’ll be returning to the studio postpartum with my newest little assistant, easing back into movement right alongside you.

If you’re in this tender season of figuring things out day by day, this space is for you. These classes are gentle, supportive, and real. They are designed to help you reconnect with your body, release some of that postpartum tension, and simply take a breath… all while your baby stays close.

There’s no pressure here. Feed your baby, change them, pause when you need. Some days will feel smooth, others a little messy. And all of it is welcome.
