We are thrilled to announce our newest member of the Morden Physiotherapy team! Dana has been our bookkeeper since 2018, has 10 years of administrative experience, as well as post secondary education including courses in conflict resolution, mediation and basic financial accounting. As an ownership group we feel excited to be able to add this position to our already excellent front end staffing. As owners/operators and therapists, we feel this will allow us to focus more time and attention on doing what we love; direct patient care, and less on the day to day operations.

We have always felt that Dana would be a great fit for this role, and we now feel that the time is right to take this next step in our business. Welcome Dana!

Congratulations to our Senior Physiotherapist Ashley Froese DPT who continues to advance her special interest in Women’s Health & Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy by completing a 22 hour Certificate of Achievement in Female Pelvic Oncology Rehab.

Inspired to take this course after a friend was diagnosed with colon cancer, Ashley has seen an influx of patients either during or after their battles with various types of cancer this past year. From male patients post abdominal surgery, to ostomy bag wound care and guidance on managing abdominal pressure, to working on bowel function post re**al cancer, Vulvar lymphedema, assisting in skin care management, achieving pe*******on post radiation treatment, to the very common bladder leakage side effects of chemotherapy treatments, cording and pectoral strengthening post mastectomy and reconstruction, structuring a safe return to activity again with a goal of injury prevention, and most importantly helping patients navigate their “new norm” both during and after treatments, connecting them to other valuable healthcare providers they may be missing out on, and being an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on, these are just some of the many many ways our pelvic floor physiotherapists are actively supporting cancer patients in our region🤍
