I was asked to look and give an estimate to replace a HWT. I went to the customers house to view (which 90% of the plumbing companies dont do) They were quoted over the phone a certain amount of monies). I went and looked, the HWT was only 5yrs old, easy flush to fix.
Did I make a lot of money flushing the tank as if I was to replace it no. But my conscious is ok. And I gained so many customers because of my honesty. ⁹

This is what happens when you put grease down the sink drain. This is at the P-trap. 3 feet past the p-trap is totally plugged all the way to the main stack. The 4 inch main the under the floor and out to the city main will likely be half plugged as well and will lead to a catastrophic back up with a possible dig to fix in the near future. Maintain your plumbing drain lines and please do not put grease down the drain.

I have worked with a few smaller companies regarding their safety systems. Unfortunately in the past they have had unqualified persons building their manual/systems. Remember what is put in your manual is gospel, whether it applies to your work. So many over build their safety system. Then when p**p hits the fan they end up paying thousands of dollars paying another unqualified person to again over build their system.

This process is call pipe bursting. There is a break in the client's sanitary line. So instead of digging up the yard or trenching we pull brand new ABS pipe through the existing damaged pipe to the property line. Very cool and less evasive plus the down time to the customer is minimal.
