This is great advice! It doesn't matter whether your a "messy" mom or a "put together mom". Whether you're a "fun mom" or a "serious mom". What matters is that you are a mom to your children, and you are doing the best you know how in the moment! You got this!! ❤️
Not every house is the same.
In some houses, mom’s the fun one who plays games, rough-houses, and initiates dance parties, while dad’s more serious and does most of the cleaning while in others it’s the reverse.
In some houses, mess lays on the floors for weeks, and you never see a dish-free sink, while in others, it’s so clean it looks like no one lives there.
Some houses have chipped paint, broken blinds, and doors that don't shut all the way, while others are brand new.
Some houses have moms who come down to make breakfast in a spit-up-covered robe, hair in a messy bun, and breath smelling of last-nights-sleep, while others come down showered, smelling of perfume, makeup painted on, and ready to take on the day.
Not every house looks the same.
But whether you're a fun or boring mom,
or have a messy or clean home
aren’t moral issues.
Because as long as you’re trying your best—
there’s love,
laughter,
and happy and safe kids—
you’re not failing.
