Today, on Remembrance Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men, women — and the loyal animals — who served and sacrificed in times of war and peace.

🐾 From the dogs who carried messages and comforted soldiers,

🕊️ To every person who stood for freedom —
we remember them all with gratitude and respect.

🌺 Remembrance Day Closure Notice 🌺

On Tuesday, November 11, our clinic will be closed in observance of Remembrance Day as we pause to honor and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

🐾 Please ensure you have enough food and medication for your pets before the holiday. If your pet is running low, give us a call by Friday Nov 7 so we can make sure you’re fully stocked.

We will reopen on Wednesday Nov 12 with regular hours.

🎃🐾 Keep Halloween Fun — and Safe — for Your Pets! 👻🐶🐱

Halloween can be spook-tacular, but it also brings some hidden dangers for our furry friends. Here are a few tips to keep your pets safe this weekend:

🧁 No Tricks, No Treats (for pets!)
Chocolate, xylitol, and candy wrappers can be toxic to dogs and cats. Keep the candy bowl out of paw’s reach!
🕯️ Decor Dangers
Curious noses + candles or glow sticks = trouble. Opt for battery-operated candles to avoid burns or upset tummies.
👗 Costume Caution
If your pet wears a costume, make sure it’s comfy, breathable, and doesn’t restrict movement, vision, or breathing.
🚪 Doorbell Drama
The constant knocking and doorbell rings can stress pets out. Set them up in a quiet, secure room away from the excitement. Please contact your veterinarian if you feel your pet needs calming medication.
🧙‍♀️ Microchip Magic
With doors opening and closing for trick-or-treaters, make sure your pet’s ID tags and microchip info are up to date—just in case they make a spooky escape!

🎃⚠️ Toxic Halloween Treats for Pets + Costume Fun! ⚠️🎃

Halloween is full of tricks and treats — but not all of them are safe for our furry friends! 👻🐾

🍫 Chocolate: Contains theobromine and caffeine — both toxic to dogs and cats.
🍬 Sugar-Free Candy & Gum: Often made with xylitol, which can cause low blood sugar and liver failure in dogs.
🍇 Raisins & Chocolate-Covered Raisins: Even a few can lead to kidney failure.
🍭 Candy Wrappers: Foil and plastic can cause choking or intestinal blockages.
☕ Caffeine: Found in some treats and drinks — can cause restlessness and heart problems.
🍺 Alcohol & Fermented Dough: Even small amounts are toxic.

🧡 Keep all candy and treats out of paw’s reach! If your pet gets into something spooky, call us right away or contact the nearest 24 hour emergency clinic.
