Even though we are closing our doors, here are two great places to redirect your shopping. We have worked closely with both these business over the past 8-10 years and can put our wholehearted support behind their family businesses, morals and mottos. So many questions are answered in this post and it reflects our feelings as well. Many factors have led up to us closing our doors, but the mismanagement of our core orders over the last 2 years have been the largest contributing factor. Please read this post, and be assured there are two other companies taking over the supply of the products you have come to rely on. They don't have the THM logo on them as the resale contracts of those products has been taken from our three family businesses and given to Amazon, but Sheri has worked tirelessly to find equally pure products to offer you. We are grateful to say that we strongly closing out a chapter in our family's lives and do not count the past 10 years a loss. We have been enriched and blessed by meeting and getting to know many of you and are grateful for your faithful support through the years! Thank you for your continued support as we move out the remainder of our inventory.
Its been a full time task mailing out all these samples! We are so happy to see the excitement and the willingness to try what we've found for you. We've had so many great conversations in our messages here, and Amanda & I would like to address some of the frequent comments & concerns :) First the comments - Then the concerns
1 - You're all SO excited for the new products!
We are so glad you are willing to trust us and our sourcing! We researched like we've never researched before to find as good or better products. Everything we found is at a minimum on par with the products we used to carry. Many of the new product are far better with regards to the ingredients, nutritional profile and taste. ALL of them are super easy for us to get and sourced in Canada. NO MORE CUSTOMS ISSUES!!
2 - You want to help us get the word out
You all are just the kindest humans! The best way to help us (outside of placing an order of course) is to share our posts, let people know that we have replacements products for everything. Post reviews in the original group when you get your samples! Spreading the word is what we need help with right now, since we ourselves are not able to post over there anymore.
3 - SO many of you feel upset and feel like the resellers were wronged.
Here we go -
Do we feel wronged? Yes, to be honest. There is a bunch of feelings about their poor conduct and lack of communication and thought. BUT, we mostly feel RELIEVED. We saw this coming over the last 18 months just based on how our orders were being handled (or mishandled). We are RELIEVED to not have to feel so undervalued. We are RELIEVED to have found better products that are made in Canada and easy for us to restock. We are RELIEVED!! There, we said it :) Its OK, we feel a lot better about our stores now than we have in almost 2 years. We feel lighter and more optimistic and less stressed. We're good! Thank you for your concern, we appreciate you so much!
4 - You feel our Canadian community was wronged or cast aside and its swayed you away from THM in general. And you don't feel supported anymore. That is a bundle of comments in 1 statement.
Oh we feel this too! It feels sad how the group community feeling has been purposely squashed down to nothing. We still hope that the US Admins will come around and let our community thrive again. WE will try our best to support you all here. We are working on ways that we can do that best. Here is the truth about being "on plan". Most of us Old school THM's have moved on from being strictly on plan. We do our best and we enjoy the original principles of the plan but we can not be so diligent and intense about it in this season of our lives. Lots of us still want to eat sugar free but maybe eat more cross overs or add intermittent fast or don't eat every 3 hours anymore. Lots still enjoy the health benefits from eating "on plan", whatever that plan may be. Lots of us are still taking the knowledge and still using the products that we have incorporated into the day to day over the last decade. We still find all of the products we have sourced useful whether we are strictly on THM or not :)
