Your safety always comes first. Here’s what to know if winter weather impacts your visit:

• If an appointment needs to be cancelled by your practitioner, you’ll be contacted directly by text or email. Please check your messages before heading out.

• If the entire clinic is closed, an update will be shared on our social media pages.

• If the clinic remains open but you’re unable to travel safely or experience logistical issues, please reach out:
• Contact your practitioner by text or email, or
• Call or text the clinic at 709-853-3542 and leave a message.

🚗❄️ There are no cancellation fees on snow days as long as the clinic is contacted with your intention to stay home or your inability to make your appointment.

An RMT in British Columbia recently created a new federal petition to gather further support for HST/GST exemption for massage therapy in Canada.

This petition is sponsored by MP Brad Vis, who has previously championed similar exemption petitions directed towards the previous federal government.

A related petition, recently presented in the House of Commons by Newfoundland MP Jonathan Rowe, has already mandated a government response. Every new petition presented with maximum signatures further amplifies our collective voice and compels the government to act on this crucial issue.

As the year winds down, appointment availability is becoming very limited before the end of 2025. If you’re hoping to get in before year-end, staying connected is key! Keep in touch about cancellations, rebooking options, and any changes due to bad weather days—openings can pop up when you least expect them.

Be sure to use the waitlist option when your preferred day is full, as it’s the easiest way to snag an opening if one becomes available. This is also the perfect time to plan ahead and secure your spot for January, so you can start the new year feeling your best and stress-free.

With our first big snow fall on the horizon I would like to take this time to go over how I personally handle snow, snow days and bad weather!

❄️ Firstly, if you feel unsafe getting to your appointment, or feel that it would be unsafe for you to try to make it home from your appointment, please do not hesitate to cancel. Your safety if #1 priority! I mainly ask that you try to give me as much notice as possible.

❄️ I do my best to assess both the actual weather and forecast before cancelling appointments. However I also prioritize trying to give you notice at least 2 hours before your appointment where and when possible.

❄️ When snow days and cancelations happen I will always do my best to open up my schedule to get you in as soon as possible to your original appointment.

❄️ Cancelation Fees : I do not, and will not, charge a cancelation fee if you are cancelling within a reasonable time frame due to safety concerns with the weather. I do not want you putting yourself in dangerous or uncomfortable situations, as I've said your safety is priority #1.
