Wedding mornings are always special to me, but Kelseyโ€™s morning was truly one to remember. From the moment I arrived, the energy in the room was so calm, joyful, and full of love. She got ready at her parents home, and it was such an honour to be part of such an intimate start to her day. I truly felt like I seen a peak of what her whole family dynamic and childhood looked like. Childhood homes (or anyones home) are one of my favourite places to get brides ready in, it totally tops any Air BNB. It tells a story as soon as you walk in, and that's so special.

After getting Kelsey booked in, we realized she graduated high school with my sister, which made this wedding a little more special to me!

Kelsey trusted me to bring her bridal vision to life, and seeing everything come together โ€” the hair, the final touches, the veil placement โ€” was such a full-circle moment. My goal is always to make my brides feel confident, cared for, and completely present, and she radiated exactly that.

Being invited into these once-in-a-lifetime moments is never something I take lightly. Kelsey, thank you for allowing me to play a small role in such a beautiful chapter of your story. ๐Ÿค

The love & friendship that has came out of this booking is something I've cherished since the day Chels first reached out to me. She was a stranger to me at the time, and stood by me, and believed in me when I was just trying to figure it all out. Between changes of booking systems, change of businesses (as I previously operated solely as Beauty by Julia Claire before we opened FATE & Co), she never once doubted me. She just sat back, and let me do my thing... even if that included signing 15 contracts cause my systems kept crashing and deleting everything๐Ÿคฃ

A stranger, to a booked bride, to a client, to a friend. I've shared just as many tears with Chels as I have laughs... including bawling the entire way home from getting her ready to say "I do", while getting daily updates on how her day was going... including the stop to McDonalds after her ceremony.. dress and all on๐Ÿคฃ, to her sitting in my chair for her hair appointment and finding out she was pregnant with her beautiful little boy, Archie James (who I also get weekly photo updates of how stinking cute he is!)

Late in 2025, I wanted to do a wedding shoot to capture some getting ready photos to add to my portfolio, and I knew she'd be the perfect person to ask. She showed up, new born baby in one hand, and wedding dress in the other, happy to help๐Ÿฅน

I'm so thankful to work alongside some of the most beautiful souls on one of the best days of their lives ๐Ÿค

Believe it or not, this was my first ever ๐™ค๐™›๐™›๐™ž๐™˜๐™ž๐™–๐™ก wedding party. And let me tell you, I'd be lying if I didn't say I was absolutely s**t baked. Not because of the bride, or because I didn't know what I was doing when standing behind the chair, but because this was the most important day in Victorias life, a day that would hang on the walls in her home.... and I held a large part of it in my hands. The adrenaline rush was wild!

It's a morning that I have replayed in my head, and cherished, every. moment. since. It taught me that wedding mornings do not need to be stressful, and in a matter of a fact, with the correct planning, it will always turn out to be a beautiful morning.

The love in the room between Vic and her bridal party, is something I'll never forget. Thank you Vic, for creating such a lovely morning & for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself!
