Topsail Rd traffic delay

🚧 Traffic Notice: 970 Topsail Road Lane Reduction 🚧

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, traffic near 970 Topsail Road (between Mount Carson Avenue and Farrell Drive) will be reduced to one lane westbound for scheduled service tie-ins.

⚠️ Expect traffic delays.
⚠️ Access to residential routes will remain open.

Dear lovely clients, I hope you are all safe and comfortable during this trying time.

Please know that the clinic will remain closed while the Town of CBS is in a State of Emergency.

Officials have asked us to avoid unnecessary travel to reduce traffic congestion and avoid distractions to our hard-working emergency services at this time.

I expect/hope to be back to regular scheduling next week after we get a bit of rain. ♥️🌦️♥️

UPDATE - 9:30 p.m. (August 12)

The RNC advises that effective immediately, Peacekeepers Way has reopened to traffic. Motorists are advised that should conditions change, the roadway may be closed again at short notice.

The RNC is advising of the closure of a portion of Peacekeepers Way.

Also known as the Conception Bay South Bypass Road, the highway has been closed in both directions between Minerals Road and the Cloverleaf (Pitts Memorial Drive/Outer Ring Road) to assist with wildfire suppression efforts near Paddy’s Pond.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area and delay any non-essential travel. Those who must travel are advised to take Topsail Road.

Please drive with patience and caution and follow the instruction of emergency personnel. For the safety of all, do not stop or exit your vehicle on a roadway.
