Flashing lights and cones are more than traffic delays - they’re there to protect roadside workers.

If you see crews or emergency vehicles ahead:
➡️ Slow down
➡️ Stay alert
➡️ Move over when safe to do so

In Newfoundland and Labrador, the Move Over Law requires drivers to reduce speed and move into the next lane when approaching stopped emergency and authorized roadside vehicles with flashing lights activated.

A simple lane change could save a life.
