I’m hosting a Reiki Level 1 & 2 training weekend on June 13th & 14th.

Level 1 focuses on the foundations of Reiki, self-healing, and working on others, along with your first attunement.

Level 2 goes a bit deeper with Reiki symbols, distance healing, and strengthening your intuitive connection, with a second attunement.

You’ll receive certification upon completion for each level.

There is the option to sign up for both levels or just one.

The world is waking up.

Even though it’s still very much winter here in Newfoundland…
you might be feeling that subtle restlessness this time of year.
That urge to move something in your life, or in your body.

This time of year, our systems start waking up.

In Chinese medicine, this is connected to the Liver and Gallbladder meridians.
The pathways that support flow, direction, and emotional release.

When that energy gets stuck, it can feel like:
irritability, tension in the body, feeling unsure or held back.

And the simplest way to support it,
is to move.

Not perfectly or intensely, just intentionally.

Stretching, walking, dancing in your kitchen.
Letting your body process what your mind has been holding onto.

This is also something I support through acupressure, working along these meridians to help the body release more deeply. ✨

Our nervous systems learned to stay guarded, to protect ourselves, to brace, to hold. And for many of us, that became our normal.

Sometimes we get so caught up searching for answers, for the next step, for the what and the how. But life isn’t always asking you to push harder. For many of us, the real practice is allowing, surrendering, and receiving.

Peace isn’t something you have to go out and find. It’s something your body allows when it feels safe enough to soften.

There is so much happening in the world, and everyone is carrying their own experiences, their own weight. But within that… there is still a choice. A choice to open, a choice to receive.

Not by forcing it, but by gently allowing yourself to feel supported, guided, and held. Sometimes the work isn’t doing more. It’s softening enough to receive what’s already there. 🤍

How often you come in really depends on what your body is needing at the time. Sometimes people come because something feels acute, like pain, tension, or emotional stress. Other times they come simply to support overall balance and wellbeing.

Acupressure tends to work in layers, which is why a short series of sessions can be helpful at the beginning. It allows the body to release tension and start rebalancing.

When something more acute is going on, sessions may be closer together. As the body begins to regulate and restore balance, treatments can naturally be spaced further apart.

Many people eventually come monthly or seasonally as a way to reset, release tension, and stay in balance.

Acupressure isn’t meant to be a quick fix. It’s a process of helping the body recalibrate over time, and consistency can make a big difference in how deeply those changes take hold. 🌿

Yet so many of us still move through life holding space for everyone else while leaving ourselves for last.

This conversation has come up a few times recently. Many of us are carrying so much these days, and it’s easy to forget or not make time, for the space we really need to care for ourselves.

The truth is, we cannot show up as our best, most aligned selves if we are constantly ignoring our own needs.

It is not your responsibility to carry the weight of everyone else. Your responsibility is to nourish and care for yourself so you can show up fully, grounded and present.

Often, that nourishment can be something very simple, a quiet moment that lets you reconnect with yourself.

This is your reminder to check in with you. 🫶🏼
