I just want to start by giving a shout out to Rachel Clark and Anne Laurie on achieving their seats of Councillors at Large in our community! You both worked so hard, getting out in our community, speaking with its members and hearing what people have to say! Your dedication there shows how you’ll be planning to show up when it matters most!

I hope the week has treated you all well and you’ve found ways to find some magic in these chilly gloomy days!

The magic for me has been in bird song and the glimpses of tiny critters and creatures emerging from their hidey holes in search of food!

Earlier this week I spied a Nuthatch through my kitchen window gathering the tuffs of Rufus’ hair in the drift wood that adorns my patio from a recent brushing! He was so cute, filling his little beak with more and more fur!

I hope you can find these glimmers of magic around you too! In the meantime you can find the magic within yourself, in the form of self care. I have some space available this week .saintjohn .
