Believe it or not I walked out of my first Yoga class because I simply could not relax. I have always been involved in health and fitness but had believed that you had to overdo it to get results. I have always lived a healthy lifestyle, but life left me neglecting my healthy lifestyle, gaining weight, and my focus and energy were declining. I was unable to do the fitness programs that I once enjoyed, that’s when my Yoga journey started. I believe everything happens for a reason. I started with a 3-week online Yoga Retreat and boy was I out of shape! I pushed through and fell in love with Yoga. As I began to build my personal yoga practice, I noticed my body moved so much better, my mind was clear and balanced, and I felt so much peace and joy. So much so, I followed my dream of being a Yoga teacher, completely aligning with my passion to help and support others and genuinely make a positive difference within myself and my community. Yoga is a part of my life now and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible, balanced, and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live in the moment and to be my best self. Currently I have completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, 50-hour Advanced Krama Vinyasa Sequencing Training, 75-hour YIN Yoga Teacher Training, 40-hr Kundalini Teacher Training and Yoga Nidra Level 1 & 2, 40-hr Myofascial Release Teacher Training & Usui Reiki training Level 1 & 2 . I am forever a student of the practice and will always seek more knowledge and teachings. I am a lifelong learner and am filled with deep gratitude for the wisdom my teachers and mentors have generously shared with me. As teacher I am excited to share this knowledge and experience with you.

There are moments when everything quietly comes full circle. 🤍

When we first dreamed up , it was always meant to be more than a place for people—it was meant to be a place for wildlife, too. A place of safety, healing, and second chances.

Recently, we’ve begun stepping into that part of our mission.

This little one—an orphaned howler monkey—arrived needing critical care, assisted feeding, and safety… and reminded us exactly why this work matters. Every life that passes through here carries a story—and it’s an honor to be part of their journey back to the wild.

We’re moving slowly, intentionally, and in alignment with the proper authorities and protocols, ensuring that every animal receives the care they deserve.

If you’ve stayed with us, supported us, or followed along—this is part of what you’ve helped make possible.

Monday Night Yoga returns on March 9 for a 4‑week series. For March, we’ll be playing with balance, letting the practice open us up towards a celebration of steadiness (Sthira) and ease (Sukha). No pressure, just curiosity, exploration, with lots of possibility. 💃 We’ll close the month with a special YIN practice, focusing on the deep connective tissues and giving the body space to unwind and restore.
