Today was a beautiful blend of salt, stories, and tech! 🧺📱🪢

I hosted a hands-on workshop where we created lobster rope baskets from salvaged fishing rope — each one uniquely shaped by the hands that made it. Alongside the weaving, I offered a Tiny Tech lesson on how to create your own timelapse video — turning a few simple steps into a magical way to document the process.

It was such a joy to see creativity and confidence build side by side — coastal craft meets digital skills in the most down-to-earth way.

Here’s to making, learning, and capturing it all as we go. 💙🌊

Join us this Saturday from 10am to Noon for a hands-on creative workshop. We’ll be weaving stories and sea-salted memories into medium-sized lobster rope baskets. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or a curious beginner, you’ll leave with something sturdy, beautiful, and totally unique.

Our outdoor creative zones are in full bloom with curious corners to explore, textures to touch, labyrinths to walk, and an unexpected two-wheeled inspiration tucked into the forest.

Tackle Box Cottage is located in the coastal community of Musquodoboit Harbour (40 mins east of Dartmouth).

Each Sunday to Sunday booking is $875
