This is great news! For my HRM customers, deodorant tubes and pump bottles are now accepted in your blue bag! That means all THERApotions packaging is now recyclable. ♻️

The plastic deodorant tubes have long been something I’ve felt guilty about. Everytime I throw one away, I feel bad. I’ve looked into cardboard options but they’re incredibly expensive, difficult to work with and a bit fragile. I’ve considered offering it in a tin, I even tried a few prototypes but they’re messy and difficult to apply. People like what they like and I was always hesitant to stray from a classic tube style despite the waste.

I’m so happy HRM has expanded their recycling program. FYI - based on what I’ve been reading, pretty much all cosmetic waste is now recyclable - tubes, bottles, pumps, caps, even mascara tubes! Most items I’ve looked up (spray bottles, deodorant, lip balm tubes etc.) indicate to leave the cap ON for recycling. 💫

Thank you doesn’t seem sufficient but I have no other words. This has been an incredible, crazy, busy, heart warming season and I am so deeply grateful to all of you for the chats, smiles, hugs and support over the past few months. I can’t believe it’s over but here we are. Every September I wonder how I’ll make all the potions, attend all of the events I signed up for months beforehand and still manage to - you know - shower, do laundry, change my oil and have some semblance of a relationship with the people in my life, but somehow I manage and end up going into the holidays with an exhausted body but a full heart. Thank you for making this time of year the most beautiful challenge!

Holiday delivery orders are officially closed. Most stockists are still open today and tomorrow if you need any last minute gifts and the website is always open. Orders received going forward will be delivered in the usual time frame.

I hope each and every one of you has an absolutely magical holiday season and are looking forward to the potential of a new year. I have big plans for 2026 and I’m excited to get working on some new projects in January but for now - family, food and rest.
