🏗️ Project Launch: Renovating Acute Room 4
Creating a More Compassionate Space for End-of-Life Care

The Nakusp Hospice Society is proud to announce the beginning of an exciting renovation project for Acute Room 4 at Arrow Lakes Hospital. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the comfort, dignity, and peace of those receiving end-of-life care in our community.

🛠️ Project Goals:

Create a warm, home-like environment
Improve comfort for patients and families
Add thoughtful design elements that support healing and reflection
💬 “This is more than a renovation—it’s a transformation of care. We’re building a space that reflects the compassion and support our community deserves.”

🛠️ Project Highlights:

Design Team: Louella Cann & Anne Billings
Mural Installation: Darlene Adair & Louella Cann
Paint Refresh: Pristine Painting
💚 This transformation will bring warmth, comfort, and dignity to those we serve.

🙏 With Gratitude:
We extend heartfelt thanks to The Ladies Hospital Auxiliary for their generous donation, and to our many faithful donors whose ongoing support makes this work possible.

📍 Stay tuned for updates and photos as the project progresses!
