I am a speech-language pathologist with experience with preschool and school-aged clients. I am passionate about helping clients and their families meet their speech and language goals. One of my favourite parts about my job is seeing clients achieve their goals. I also love it when families are actively involved throughout the process. I enjoy coaching families on strategies and collaborating with them on ways to use those strategies in daily activities. An absolute pleasure to read ‘Wonderfully Wired’, a beautiful book by Stacey Lucas-Toumbourou.
Packed full of inspirational, neurodivergent people with powerful stories. ‘Wonderfully Wired’ describes the incredible talents and things that these people have achieved. It celebrates the strengths and lives of people who are neurodivergent and have helped to shape our world.
This positive perspective of neurodivergent people is vital to motivate and encourage those who think a little differently, that ‘The Sky is the Limit!’
This copy will be coming into school with me to remind our neurodivergent students to follow their dreams. X
