Just because it’s in your shopping cart, doesn’t mean it’s safe.

From infant self-feeding devices and baby walkers to balloon blowing kits - banned products can look innocent but pose real dangers and can cause serious injuries or worse.

If you bought a consumer product online, always double check to see if it’s been banned or recalled. If it’s banned in Canada, it’s not a “deal,” it’s a danger.

When in doubt, check it out: https://ow.ly/Rf8e50Wn1ck

June 21 is Indigenous Peoples Day — a time to honour the rich cultures, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across these lands.

This day is purposefully held on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year — a moment that holds deep spiritual meaning for many Indigenous communities. It is a time of connection: to the land, to ancestors, to ceremony, and to each other.

It’s a day of joy, pride, culture, and community.

A day to honour Indigenous creativity, knowledge, and resilience.

A day to witness and uplift Indigenous voices — past, present, and future.

Whether this is your first time learning about Indigenous Peoples Day, or it’s a day you hold close, we invite you to take a moment to listen, learn, and celebrate the richness and diversity of Indigenous cultures.
