TRIP Trauma Regulation and Integration Process

TRIP Trauma Regulation and Integration Process Training and Supervision for Therapists This combination appears from clinical observations to reduce and eliminate prominent PTSD and CPTSD symptoms.

The T.R.I.P approach involves working with trauma incorporating the body, emotions, beliefs, memories and the five senses often involved with trauma. The T.R.I.P model draws from the fields of Eye Movement therapies (OEI), body-based therapies (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy/Somatic Experience), Attachment Theory (Neufeld), Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems therapies. It is a gentle and effective integrative trauma approach that offers awareness, understanding, compassion and integration. During the T.R.I.P process we reunite the different “shrapnel pieces” of trauma that are located in both the body and the mind. Helping the client to regulate and integrate these trauma pieces offers better balance and a better quality of living.
